The Toronto Railway Museum is operated by the Toronto Railway Historical Association, a federally registered charitable organization. The museum relies on support from admissions and donations for the majority of its operating budget. Volunteer
Toronto Railway Museum is a volunteer-run organization! We have a great crew of volunteers who assist staff and support the Museum in a wide range of activities:
- Administration (Marketing, Accounting, H.R.)
- Operations (Mini-train, Construction, Maintenance, Security)
- Museology (Curation, Exhibit Development, Research)
- Communications (Writing, Publishing, Photography, Event Planning)
- Restoration and Repairs
- And more
Our hard-working volunteers are busy planning new attractions, restoring our exhibits and preparing new displays for the next season. We have specific open opportunities listed on our Volunteer page, but if there is anything else you would like to do at the museum, please tell our Volunteer Coordinator (volunteer@trha.ca) how you would like to help.
Host an Event
If you would like to host an event to raise money and awareness for the Toronto Railway Museum, please contact us for an Event Toolkit that will provide step-by-step help for hosting your event. We can share your event on our social media channels and website. Also, we can supply you with brochures and banners as needed. If needed, we can supply our logo for web or print at your request.
