Would you like to explore the Toronto Railway Museum at your own pace? Our audio guide provides extra information about our exhibits, available on your own device! To access the audio guide, click here. Please note that our audio guide is only available in both English and Ukrainian.
We offer two guides for the museum. Our indoor audio guide teaches you about the exhibits we have inside the museum at stall 17. Here you can learn about cross-country train travel on The Canadian, local commuter travel on GO Transit, or the history of the John Street Roundhouse.
Our outdoor guide provides more fun facts about our large artifacts. These include the rolling stock and locomotives (the “trains”) in the park. Ever wondered about the differences between a steam and diesel train? You can learn that and more by listening in! While the guide is best enjoyed in person, you are welcome to access it from home as well.
If you are looking for even more information, be sure to check out our historical railway plaques. These fourteen plaques tell the stories of Toronto’s railways. You can find them throughout Roundhouse Park. You can pick up a map of the plaques at the museum, or here for download.
Please note: you will need data to access the guide on site, as the museum does not have wifi.
